Michael T Workman is a filmmaker and artist working in documentary film, installation, video art, and sculpture.

In 2015 he was selected as one of the 25 Under 25, an award that recognizes 25 Montanans under the age of 25 that are shaping Montana through their work and leading social change. His latest film From Parts Unknown screened in competition at Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest and many other festivals. His first documentary An Anonymous Rebellion, premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in 2010. In 2015 his short documentary Constructed Situations won the Best Film Grand Jury Award for the Audience Awards Art Montana competition. Workman works as the Senior Programmer of the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and is the former Artistic Director of Total Fest a DIY music festival in Missoula. He received his BFA in Art and BA in Media Arts Filmmaking from the University of Montana, he is currently an MFA candidate in Documentary Film at Stanford University.
